Trustworthiness Assurance
Trustworthiness Assurance addresses certification of cyber-physical systems (CPS) that act in interplay with a smart digital infrastructure to accomplish new capabilities, e.g. in robotics and transportation. Novel technologies and complexity necessitate the development of new frameworks and methodologies, where multiple aspects of trustworthiness are of interest.
Industrial Edge Applications
Industrial edge applications require careful mapping of requirements to 5G and upcoming 6G networked infrastructures while offering many opportunities for optimization at run-time. This track pursues the testing and proof-of-concepts through the TECoSA 5G edge computing testbeds, and software platforms to support the evolving digital infrastructures towards 6G and AI-RAN.
Edge-AI
Edge AI relates to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with edge computing, for instance in the context of the joint operation of edge infrastructures and cyber-physical systems. Machine learning techniques are central to EdgeAI and pose substantial challenges regarding networking optimization and automation, for instance with respect to large foundational models
TECoSA Project Evolution
The three main projects are complemented by dedicated testbed efforts, smaller agile projects and
several associated projects. TECoSA as a whole with affiliated partners forms a growing knowledge and innovation eco-system in the area of trustworthy edge-computing systems and applications.
