TECoSA Testbed Workshop
May 10, 2021, 09:00 – 12:00
An essential part of our research efforts in TECoSA are our testbed activities. After a first testbed workshop in spring 2020, our efforts on this thread have been slowed down due to several issues, Covid-19 being one of them. With this workshop we want to renew our efforts, discuss the current status and in particular sync with all stakeholders on use cases. (All members welcome – please respond to the Outlook invitation circulated).
The purpose of the workshop is to (a) summarize the many threads of the last months on the establishment of the testbed; (b) synchronize everyone on the planning of the next months; and (c) collect feedback regarding integration and interception points from the partners over the next 6 months. An agenda and some homework is outlined below.
9:00 – 9:30 Welcome, Intro, Recap (Ambition, Goals, Previous Thoughts)
9:30 – 10:00 Current status/thinking: 2 testbed threads with short-term / long-term time line / milestones
10:00 – 10:50 Group work (including a break / leg stretch): Use cases for each thread (short-term / long-term), additional scenarios, participants prepare input upfront (see below)
10:50 – 11:10 Demos
11: 10 – 12:00 Feedbach from the group work, discussion and conclusions
Preparation:
We ask every participating partner to think about use cases, software and/or equipment to incorporate at some point. In order to facilitate a “matching” contribution, please refer to the “reference architecture” of the image below. Your contributions/preparations will be the input for the group work in the middle (10 – 10:50) of the workshop.
