COLA Project goals

  • Develop new algorithms for safe and predictable collaborative autonomous systems that leverage edge computing architectures, specifically with focus on real-time multi-agent planning and control algorithms and novel approaches focused on aligning provable and perceived safety in HRI
  • Run a key demonstrator in the indoor testbed involving autonomous robots interacting with humans, featuring the benefits of trustworthy edge computing in terms of safety and performance.
  • To provide an arena for education (internships, thesis, projects, competitions), innovation and strategic collaboration in the area
  • To synergetically collaborate with TECoSA projects SMEDE and CAR
