This TECoSA project started in May 2021 and is financed by Vinnova (https://www.vinnova.se/en/) as part of their SME programme (https://www.tecosa.center.kth.se/sme-programs/)
The key partners are two SME companies, Syntell AB and Safety Integrity AB, with KTH and industry partner Einride taking active part in the project. The aim is to find new, effective solutions to ensure safety in autonomous transport systems. “The goal of the project is to support industry by replacing the complex and time-consuming work of security clearance with more effective and reliable processes and methods,” explains Heike Schneider, Syntell. “To do this, we are building on our extensive system modeling competence (https://www.syntell.se/vara-tjanster/systems-engineering-och-systemmodellering/) , in combination with Safety Integrity’s expertise within the frameworks such as ISO 26262 (https://www.iso.org/standard/43464.html) and KTH’s STAMP/STPA experience. (https://en.ru.is/stamp/what-is-stamp/).”
During the year, the methods developed within MBRASA will be tested in use cases together with Einride and the results will be presented at the end of 2021. MBRASA team will participate in the 9th Scandinavian Conference on System and Software Safety in November and share their preliminary results. Details will be shared with TECoSA members and announced on the TECoSA homepage.
